My name is Suchocki Mirosław, Mirek to those who know me. I am Polish, in my early 60s and have worked in technical professions all my life, as a welder, locksmith and stonemason. About a year ago, while browsing the internet, I came across a film showing a wall painted with graffiti being cleaned with a laser. I thought it really impressive and shared with friends who encouraged me. In January I bought one of these machines and over a period of four months h learned how to work with various materials, documenting some of the procedures in the films I present below. The cleaning process is perfectly safe for any material and I have illustrated in some of the films putting my hand under the laser without any harm, illustrating how finely the power can be controlled for different tasks. It is a very efficient process, the only waste being the material actually cleaned form the surface being treated, whether that be weather-patina or serious adhesions like paint, varnish and fatigue such as rust. This is a purely agitative process involving no potentially polluting chemicals, just the completely controllable agitations of the laser.
